A group representing the project on Innovative Clusters in Health and Tourism – Health Spas – the Pearls of Eastern Poland’ made a study visit October 17 – 23, 2010 to selected health spas located in Central Europe.
Altogether 45 representatives participated from the following entities: Uzdrowisko Busko-Zdrój S.A., Sanatorium Uzdrowiskowe „Nida” w Busku-Zdroju, Gmina Busko – Zdrój, Gmina Iwonicz - Zdrój, Sanatorium „Sanvit” in Iwonicz-Zdroj, Uzdrowisko Iwonicz - Zdrój S.A., Sanatorium „Górnik” in Iwonicz - Zdroj, Energetyk SPA Sp. z o. o. in Iwonicz -Zdroj, Gmina Rymanów, Uzdrowisko Rymanów - Zdrój S.A., Ośrodek Wypoczynkowy „Rudawka” in Rudawca Rymanowska, Uzdrowisko Horyniec Sp. z o. o., Gmina Horyniec - Zdrój, Gmina Solec - Zdrój, Centrum Rehabilitacji Rolników KRUS in Horyńec – Zdroj, Stowarzyszenie Promocji Przedsiębiorczości in Rzeszow, College of Management and Administration in Zamośc and the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow.
In seven days the group visited eight health spas of which seven were outside of Poland:
Slovakia - Uzdrowisko Dudince in the province of Bańska Bystrzyca, Austria – Uzdrowiska: Bad Blumau and Bad Waltersdorf in Landzie Styria, Germany – Uzdrowiska: Bad Füssing in Bavaria andi Bad Elster in Saxony, Czech – Uzdrowiska: Franciszkowe Łaźnie and Karlowe Wary in the province of Karlowe Wary. They also visited the Polish spat at Kudowa -Zdrój in the Dolnośląske Province.
